Strawberry Cinnamon Bread is always a hit for dessert or as a tea time treat – soft, moist and so fruity ! Quick, easy everyday pantry ingredients.
I have never made Strawberry Cinnamon Bread – first bake and first success. Moist and really … well, strawberry-ish!
As soon as I noticed a link on one of the linky parties this week, I pinned it and decided to print immediately as I had all the ingredients on hand.
The recipe is just enough for a medium loaf and with our family going overboard on the desserts, I think I will double the recipe next time!
Sweet breads which are not only quick to make, but fruity as well, has to be one of my number one desserts to go to. That is when I am in a baking mood.
No real need to serve anything with the Strawberry Bread (except a cup of tea or coffee). But a dollop of whipped cream and a fresh strawberry or two makes the dessert so much more special.
I found the original recipe here, and I just knew immediately that we would love it, as I have been following Miz Helen’s Country Cottage since like forever.
As the bread is so filled with Cinnamon flavor, I had to include Cinnamon in the name as well. If you are anything like me, the smell of a cinnamon dessert baking is always heavenly !
And I have also been making a couple of her other recipes and we totally loved them all.
