Guilt-Free Melon Breakfast can be served for dessert as well. It is low in fat, healthy and the perfect way to start your morning.
Melons are some of my favorite fruits ! Although I have to say that a sweet, ice-cold slice of Watermelon tops them all.
Also, Melons do not contain lots of calories, are rich in Vitamins, consists mainly of water and only have one bad point. They contain sugar – which of course is really not that high in Melons.
That is what makes this Guilt-Free Melon great for Breakfast or as a light Dessert.
During Summer we are always looking for cool foods, whether it is Breakfast, Mains or Dessert. And of course in Winter we have rich, hearty and very filling meals for Breakfast and/or the Main meal at night.
After one of these rich Wintery meals, this Melon dish is perfect for dessert afterwards. However, the really warming, chocolatey, baked goodies do also make their way to our table very regularly on a cold night 😉

Guilt-Free Melon Breakfast or Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 cup Watermelon balls or cubed
- 1 cup Cantaloupe balls or cubed
- 1 cup Honeydew Melon balls or cubed
- ½ cup Pomegranate Pips
- ¼ cup Fat-Free Plain Yogurt
- 1 TB Honey
- ⅛ t Nutmeg
- 2 TB Walnuts chopped
Instructions
- Divide the Fruit between 4 serving bowls
- Combine the Yogurt with the Honey and Nutmeg – drizzle over the Fruit
- Top with the chopped Walnuts and serve
