Easter Martini is not your usual gin based Martini, but made with Vodka. Smooth as silk, easy drinking, with a delightful kick !

Easter is around the corner and if you are looking for a silky smooth, easy drinking Easter cocktail, this Easter Martini is just the drink !
The Creme de Cacao, Baileys and Vodka plays together so deliciously, you would want (at least) two !
The little bit of crushed Easter Egg Chocolate definitely adds that tiny hint of Easter.
You could also top the Easter Martini with finely grated Easter Egg Chocolate.
Quick glance at the ingredients for two Easter Martinis :

- 1 Hollow Easter Egg, about a golf ball size
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1/4 cup Creme de Cacao, ( 2 fluid oz / 60 ml )
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream, ( 2 fluid oz / 60 ml )
- 1/2 cup Vodka, plain not flavored ( 4 fluid oz / 125 ml )
- Crushed Ice
If you are making a large batch of the Easter Martini, I would suggest using a larger (than a cup) measurement tool i.e. a small bowl.
Always keep in mind that the ratios should remain the same as in the recipe. So, if you are using a measuring jug, work out each of the ingredients to be the same ratio.
The Creme de Cacao and Baileys would be the same quantity each, and the Vodka would be double (or in other words the same quantity of both the Creme de Cacao and Baileys)
However, you would then have to stir well, add to a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake, pour and repeat until all of the mixture is used.

Easter Martini
Ingredients
- 1 Hollow Easter Egg about a golf ball size
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- ¼ cup Creme de Cacao ( 2 fluid oz / 60 ml )
- ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream ( 2 fluid oz / 60 ml )
- ½ cup Vodka plain not flavored, ( 4 fluid oz / 125 ml )
- Crushed Ice
Instructions
- Crush the Hollow Easter Egg in a pestle and mortar (or in a plastic bag) - tip out into a ring (size of the glass' rim) on a small plate
- Brush 2 Martini glass rims' with the Honey and place the rim side on the crushed Chocolate ring shape - place in the refrigerator until needed
- Add the Creme de Cacao, Baileys, Vodka and a big handful of Ice in a cocktail shaker (or something similar) - Shake unti the outside of the shaker is cold - Strain into your prepared glasses and serve immediately
Notes
- You can use any measurement tool as long as the ratios of liquor remains using the same tool
