Dump and Bake Beef Casserole ~ No-Fuss, Low-Fat Beef, healthy Casserole – perfect comfort food !
This is another recipe which I have been making on and off for years. I found this in a recipe book by Christelle Erasmus which is all about low-fat, healthy dishes.
The original name (translated from Afrikaans) is “No-Patience Beef Casserole” and that is exactly what this Dump and Bake Beef Casserole is about !
Low in fat, low in preparation time and so easy to make – what more can I ask for ! I have not tried this recipe in my slow-cooker yet, but am aiming to do so.
I only serve this casserole over brown rice, with no additional side dishes. It is simply not necessary as this is very filling and there are loads of sauce. Which of course is low in fat as well, so you can add as much as you like over your meal.
Also, do not be put off by the amount of different ingredients – remember it is dump and bake 😉
You might also like my One Pot Beef and Vegetables which is also Low in Fat and easy to make too !
