Caramel Hot Chocolate is a smooth, comforting drink and so good on a chilly evening. Quick to make and kids love this drink !
Happy Halloween everyone ! Seeing as Halloween is not that big in South-Africa, I thought I would at least have a recipe ready for you all out celebrating, to enjoy after trick-or-treating.
This Caramel Hot Chocolate will definitely warm you up and is perfect for the kids. Adults – you might consider adding a shot (or two!) of English Toffee Liqueur to this hot beverage as well 😉
To me, Hot Chocolate is definitely not a seasonal drink, I enjoy a mug every now and then, throughout the year and almost always at bedtime.
So comforting and I do believe it makes me sleep better (now don’t go smash that idea with any myths and facts!).
I absolutely love it when I add the whipped cream and the bubbles form around the sides, pushing their way up and a little over the edges of the cream.
As I am typing up this post, I feel the definite craving for a mug of this Caramel Hot Chocolate as we are experiencing some rainy days right now.
And the evenings are much chillier than normal for this time of year in South-Africa. Even though it is rain season, it’s not the usual rain with warm weather. Strange things going on with the weather …
