Asian Chicken Kebabs are tender, juicy and a must have recipe for your next BBQ – Quick marinade and ready to grill in 30 minutes
These Asian Chicken Kebabs are hands-down our favorite. The meat are always tender and juicy and never dry out as can easily happen with Chicken Fillets being grilled.
The Kebabs would normally form part of an array of grilled meats when we have a barbecue.
But now and then I like to use my Kebaba machine, which is wonderful.
The kebabs are inserted horizontally and turn around all the time almost the same as a rotisserie chicken is grilled.
I prefer to grill over the coals, but when I am alone or in an extreme hurry the Kebaba machine is so convenient to use indoors.
I served these Asian Kebabs with salads on the side and a delicious Avocado and Bacon Stuffed Potato recently and it was a perfect match to serve together.
Use fresh !
The small trick here, to get all the flavors really going, is to use only fresh Lime, Lemon, Ginger and Garlic.
Bottled stuff does not work the same, not in taste and neither in the tenderness or juiciness of the Chicken Kebabs’ end result.
I grate my zest on the finest grater I can lay my hands on in order for more flavor to come through. Besides, Asian is all about strong definitive flavors, right?
After Olive Oil, Sesame Oil is my favorite to use, especially in Asian or some other exotic recipe.
Absolutely mind blowing taste with only a little bit used ! (need not tell you that if you are also a fan of Sesame Oil!).
The Soy Sauce adds enough salt, therefore no additional salt is needed, nor any black pepper. Pepper might even throw off the whole Asian taste.
